I have no BRB available for some time so therefore. Does the fact that my characters kills the enemy characters have effect on the combat resolution between the fighting units ? What was the ruling of overkill ? If the killing of enemy character has effect on the combat resolution, what is that effect ?
Thanks !

Re: Overkill CR effect
For combat resolution, you count only actual wounds made and not saved, including those made to characters (BRB p.52).
A character starting the combat with 3 wounds, slain with 5 wounds, would bring in only a CR of 3.
KB counts for all remaining wounds at the time of the KB.
Overkill is an exception happening in a challenge (p.53).
If one of the two participants to a challenge (including their mounts) is slain with more wounds unsaved than necessary, the excess wounds count as well, up to a maximum of 5 excess wounds.
