1k sorta noobish, maybe beardy
I'm sort of reluctant to post this list because, 1) I don't have a rule book with me and I'm not sure if a champion can be a general. 2) It's probably the most beardy list I've done.
I made this list because a HE player in our group is exited about the ASF rule and he says, " I'm gonna max out on swordmasters!" So after reading through the forum about the new HE, I concluded that 1) RxBs are now my new best friends, and 2) Chariots are required. I always tell him, " I'm gonna get 100 shots!" So I made this list.
142 11 Crossbowmen: Champion(general), shields
132 11 Crossbowmen: shields
120 5 Dark Riders: Rxb
120 5 Dark Riders: Rxb
107 Cold one Chariot: Sp, Rxb
107 Cold one Chariot: Sp, Rxb
70 5 Shades: Rxb
200 2 Reaper Bolt Throwers
It's actually 94 shots to be exact , but I think everybody gets the point. I'm gonna try to move into position. Out shoot him forcing him to move his combat troops towards me, and from there I can set up flanks, take down warmachines, and keep the rest of his army in check.
The main problems with this list are that I don't have any magic, and I don't have any hammers, so my shades are going to mage hunt, and I tried to make all units decent in combat with plenty of support.

Not terrible if you want to make this kind of list...
First off, A champion can not be your general but I would suggest getting a noble on dark steed with the lifetaker... Easy way to kill mages ETC
Also, why 11 crossbowmen? Just seems random

Just a quick 2 cents

1) Champions can't be generals
2) Not having any magic defense at all is, to put it mildly, silly.
Of course, if your opponent thinks somewhat like you(ie load up on one aspect and pretty neglect the rest), you shouldn't do too bad . Get a Noble with the Seal of Ghrond plus other goodies and put him a chariot. Do remember that except for the chariots, anything that gets into Close Combat dies. Supporting the chariots with Dark Riders will be vital.

very nice, highy mobile and awesome shooting ability. most enemies won't be able to catch you and when they do, the CoC can countercharge

Nice - however, you might want to have a look at the Talisman of Protection to see if those points can be spent elsewhere.

That's Seal of Ghrond? That's a Talisman, so your Noble can't even wear the (IMO useless) ToP. Use the 15 freed-up points to Muso up your DR.Gladeius wrote:126 Noble: Lance, Shield, SDC, Ha, SoG, Talisman of P.

I agree completely with Raneth.
Since you can't have both the Seal and the Talisman of Protection (which is crap anyway), get musicians for your Dark Riders. If charged, their default reaction should be to flee, and the musicians will help them rally.
Otherwise, very nice list. I would run it.
