This leaves me 15 points to play with. My main opponent is dwarves and I have learned that strength 3 shooting never really does much. I wanted to fit an assassin in but couldn't find the points. Please give any tips and advice since I am new to Dark Elves and like how things look on paper but don't know how they will actually play out for this army.

I'd put the Drealord on the chariot and have him punch in with the cold one knights. In my experiance Cold one knights are a useful support but lack the numbers to be a hammer unit on their own.

Against Dwarves you want a lot of High strength fighters so Black guard are a good choice there.

Some Bolt throwers can come in handy esp against those annoying things like gyocopters.

Possibly use your master as a hunter but give him a lance at least becuase dwarf war machine crews can be tough.

One random thing I'd note is the lord doesn't need SDC with Armor of Darkness.

I know this is extremely late, but against Dwarves I don't think you are allowed to use the Crystal of Midnight

Sure you are... it just won't do anything as dwarfs have no spells.

If you are playing dwarves no need for magic. With the points you can get 17 Executioners and a Killing Blow assasin.

A cauldron fo bllod would be eat against dwarves as well.
