Alcranio that list looks good but I would like to have a cauldron with all those BG.
These are two lists I am going to try out soon:
All out assault:
Dreadlord (With ASF BG), Sea Dragon Cloak, Heavy Armour,
Pair of Repeater Handbows, Executioner's Axe, Null Talisman 258
Sorceress Lv1 2 x Dispel 150
Cauldron, BSB 225
11 Repeater Crossbowmen, Light Armour and Shields, Musician. 126
11 Repeater Crossbowmen, Light Armour and Shields, Musician. 126
13 Repeater Crossbowmen, Light Armour and Shields, Musician. 148
10 Corsairs, Handbows 100
5 Harpies 55
7 CoK 189
7 CoK 189
13 Black Guard, Full Command,
Standard of Hag Graef, Champion has Ring of Hotek 254
13 Black Guard, Full Command, Banner of Murder,
Champion Has Crimson Death. 254
War Hydra 175
Total 2249
Corsairs are a meat shield for whichever BG unit is most vulnerable to shooting.
CoK and other unit og BG plus hydra rush up on side.
Crossbows deploy mainly on other side and try to help the assault get into combat with as few casualties as possible.
Magic and shooting:
Sorceress Lv 4, 2 x Dispel Scroll, Sacrificial Dagger,
Pearl of Infinite Bleakness. 360
Master, Heavy Armour, Shield,
Sea Dragon Cloak, Great Weapon, Lifetaker, Null Tailsman 127
Cauldron, BSB 225
Assaassin, Additional Hand Weapon,
Manbane, Rending Stars, Cloak of Twilight 171
10 Repeater Crossbowmen, Light Armour and Shields, Musician. 115
10 Repeater Crossbowmen, Light Armour and Shields, Musician. 115
25 Warriors, Shields, Spears, Including Full Command, War Banner 215
Shades 7 Additional Hand Weapons 119
Shades 7 Additional Hand Weapons 119
13 Black Guard, Full Command, Standard of Hag Graef 229
13 Black Guard, Full Command, Banner of Murder,
Champion Has Crimson Death. 254
2 x Reaper Bolt Thrower 200
Total 2249
This is a more defensive army. But I can still hurt them from afar.
It is hard for the enemy to come and get the points for the sorceress as she will be protected by at least the spearmen and one unit of black gaurd.
The assassin can be flown in (steed of shadows) to assassinate mages or DE with RoH as can the master.
Any suggestions?

Long live Threadomancy!
Well, I am soon going to a tournament in a nearby country, which will use ETC restrictions, and I currently only have 12 BG, so I was thinking of a counter-assault list. I kind of am not 100% sure that the restrictions make it completely impossible.
The classical counter-assault list has Dragon, a lot of shooting, hydra and 2RBT, and often very little magic defence. With the need to drop hydra (and hence less targets), stronger magic defence is needed. So, here is a variant list I came up with:
Lord: Dragon, Armour of Darkness, Crimson Death, Seal of Ghrond
Level 1: 2 scrolls
Level 1: staff that gives +1 to dispel
(total: 5DD, two scrolls, +1 to dispel)
Assassin: ahw, Manbane, Throwing Stars
5 harpies
5 DR, Music
5 DR, Music Crossbows
12 RXB, Shields
8 shades, ahw
8 shades, ahw
Chariot
(total: 35 rxb including chariot)
20 warriors, shields, champion, standard
20 warriors, shields, champion, standard
(these guys made an appearance, because there is a limit on shooting, and I preferred cheaper warriors to more expensive DR, as they die harder; also, they complement the chariot well, and can be good for hosting sorceresses; they are even a moderate combat threat)
2RBT
So, the list has some assault threats (mainly dragon, but to a smaller degree COC and warriors), rather solid magic defence and maxed out shooting. It doesn't give up points too easily (i.e., isn't too dark-rider heavy), and plays in a similar way to the classical counter-assault list.
If you have any ideas or comments, I'll be glad to hear those.
