1500 pt Dark elf list for an upcoming tournament.

Post by Hainzy »

Hey all!

Well after enjoying the Dark Elves in all their awesomeness since their re-release a few years ago I've decided to leave most of my tried, tested and trusted toys/ units at home and try something completely different- ALL CAV!

So here's what I'm thinking...

CORE

4 units of 5 Dark Riders inc Muso and xbows. @ 468pts.

SPECIAL

15 COK inc F/C With Flamming attacks Champ with the Iron Curse Icon @ 460pts.

2 COC @ 200pts

CHARACTERS

Master on Peg with HA,SDC,Sh Talisman of Endurance and Sword of Might @ 185pts

Master on CO with HA, SDC,sh Pendant and Sword of Battle @ 185

Total 1498pts.

I've already played one game against Bretts which was a 15-5 win.

I know... No hydra, magic and SFA SCR. It's going to be a challenge to use.

However, with 4 vanguarding units I can have my redirecters pretty much where I want them. Dance around them a bit whilst the guy on peg takes out any warmachines that threaten my COK unit and hopefully don't screw up to much. Then literally send in the cavalry combined with chariots.

That's the plan anyway....

Cheers
H
You can take your vamp lord on zombie dragon, 48 graveguard, blackcoach, 3 wraiths, 2 units of dogs and your 3 units of 10 piddly zombies and shove them up your f&$%ing a$$.....

Worst game of warhammer I've ever played.....

I'm thinking of doing something very similar. I have 15 DR's, 15 COK's, 2 chariots, 1 peggy sorc, 1 peggy hero and two hydra's.
