Could we move this thread or another one of his to the hall of fame as a tribute?

We've been thinking of something a little better than that actually, but now is not yet the time I think to do that yet.

I am posting merely to confirm what Ras has said. It is likely that any posts that may cause offence are likely to be poorly regarded by us in this delicate time. Best behaviour, people.

Whatever the reason was why Vengeance has made his choice, I respect that, and all I can say is that he may rest in peace.

You will be remembered.

The internet is closer to you and your home than you think. :(

It's like in school, taking attendance and then noticing the guy is not here, and one day later hearing that he is dead.
(happened to a person in my class)

And in the internet you notice the absence of the person and then grief for him.

Rest in Peace

Vengey, Here's to some good conversations in the chat room. You will be sorely missed.

"And now I'm glad I didn't know,
The way it all would end,
The way it all would go.
Our lives are better left to chance,
I could have missed the pain,
But I'd have had to miss the dance."

So long buddy.

Let us just hope that whatever caused him to do this, that it was a small fragment of his life.

This is tragic and shocking news

I never knew Vegeanceseeker but he was good in the SAU RPGs.

May you be remembered by those who loved you and may you finally be at peace

Venge mate, I don't know what to say. I spoke to you in the chat and on MSN, we always had a good laugh. I hope you're happier wherever you are now.

Rest in peace.

For some reason, the name isn't ringing a bell. It's sad to read this nonetheless.

I'll remember you with a smile, even when we had our differences. What's important is that you're happy.

With merely posts and avatars and user names as a link we tend to forget the real persons with real problems who stand behind the accounts. That's sad.

*Recites funerary rosary for VS*
Sad and tragic all at once. Tragic for the family and close friends, sad for the rest of us.

Rork: Sorry.
Linda: Very nice funerary? poem. Is Mercdes actually you?
Cenyu: I agree with what you said. The posts and avatars do hide the real person, and, of course, any problems they're having.

Venge! You'll live on in the hearts and minds of all those that knew you. You will be missed, safe journey to the afterlife. Until we meet again.

Goodbye rich, this really hit me like a sledgehammer after I've been busy for a few days. I wish you'd said something about feeling like that, I remember good times with you in the chat etc and for me that's what I'll remember you by, not by what has recently come to light even though I want to know why you did it.

I only knew you through Arl, but waht an impact you had on me. I played that game locking wits with you and never knowing your next move. We argued, we bickered, we fought agaisnt eac other in wars but I always in secret respectedy you very highly.
You were the master of Subtrefuge, and you always kept the gaem full of colour. Through MSN i came to think of you more and more as the British counterpart of myself.

To Richard the Vengeanceseeker! One of the most respected men I knew.

PS, some of us on World of Arl are trying to start a fund forhis family. I will send more information when I have it

I remember the name and always will.

I would suggest some sort of tribute and day of rememberance. Perhaps some of his friends could paste together his best comments on the site and make a memorial to him??

I know this is a very sensitive subject to everyone....

Take care knowing that he has awoken somewhere in a better place.....

Good Peace and Warm Love to you Vengeanceseeker!!!!

We shall fight on in your memory!!!!!
