It seems I missed much in a week. I didn't know Richard very well but I remember him a bit from the old chatroom. Rest in peace, I'll pray for your soul and your family. Whatever problems you had, I hope you're at peace now.

I have been gone sfor such a long time from here, until about last week. And I never had a chance to say a hello to Vengy again.

This is really, really sad. It's strange. Had it been one of my friends who told me of someone they knew from a forum, I might not understand it. As Cenyo put it, it's only names and avatars.

But this really hits me somewhere. In the heart. I remember him from the chat and the RPG's. He was one of the people i felt I got to know, even though a lot of you probably was much closer to him than I was.

I would like to put a poem here, or something, but on the other hand I won't reduce it to that.

So it'll be: Rest in peace Vengy.

Speak to me
For I have seen
Your waning smile
Your scars concealed
So far from home, do you know you're not alone
Sleep tonight
Sweet summer light
Scattered yesterdays, the past is far away

How fast time passed by
The transience of life

Wasted moments won't return
And we will never feel again

Beyond my dreams
Ever with me
You flash before my eyes, a final fading sigh
But the sun will rise
And tears will dry
Of all that is to come, the dream has just begun

And time is speeding by
The transience of life

Wasted moments wont return
And we will never feel again

wow... i hadn't actually thought anyone here might do that sort of thing, everyone seems so... happy...? most of us hardly ever complain. maybe thats something, we allrestrain outselves from talking about just stuff. Anyway, I didn't know him, but im sure he was a great guy and my condolences to those who knew him.

(How about a secial Vengenceseeker shrine or his own hall of fame?)
Finally; someone's put the 7th Edition Dark Elf book up for download: Here!

This is... unexpected, to say the least from me. I am in complete shock. I wouldnt have guessed that he would do something like this, from our chats from times past, but I've been gone a year and this is the first piece of news I learn? This is horribly wrong, and yet I can't say it in any other way.

VS, you will be missed. I dont know what drove you to this, but you will be missed. Your input was appreciated here on Dnet, and I realize you wont be reading this, ever, but its from the heart.

We'll see you later.

Have a safe journey.

Goodbye.

Whoops, I thought I had mentioned that. It's Emotional Winter, a song by Anathema. Thought it fitting.

I think this thread has run it's course.

It is a testament of sorts to a respected and valued member of the community.

This will reside in the Hall of Fame. I'm not sure if this is "famous" but a good man does not deserve to be forgotten on pg 23 or such.

He lives on in memory.

Seconded ~ VM
