@infirmus: nice point but I must agree with Nagathi on this one. Druchii.net isn't some Counter server were you're supposed to make some quick answers, it's a site meant for answers with depth and such. As you're writting yourself.

I think that short cut's for names, items or such are okay, but I'ts annoying when some pop-nerd writs: al u ppl out there, str8en urself up, bcuz diz is goin' down.

I hate netspeak. It may be because I am one of the biggets perfectionists on this planet. I accept typos and spelling errors, we're after all only humans and can make mistakes, but I hate netspeak

As a solution, we do have a language filter don't we? Something that changes words automatically (not just the *** junk). If so, we could add a bunch of the netspeak "words" to that list and use the filter to replace those things for us.

I am a Counter strike player... and as all counterstrike players know you have to use netspeak in-game otherwise it takes too long time!! I find it more comfortable typing like that.. its a sort of a short-cut-typing. I dun care if y'all dont like it, cos ill keep typing like this no matter what u say;).
U r pretty dumb if ya cant read whats written there man... just read <u> and it sounds like <you> and read <r> and it sounds like <are>.
And stuff like 1337 which means LEET or Elite. Is more of an insiders word.
Stuff like noob, n00b, and newb. Are all for <Beginner> and <newbie>. Well whatever u say i wont quit typing like i type

I tend to use things such as "u" every so often, because in certain online games, if you spend too much time typing, you will die. But in a forum, unless you aren't paying attention, it's pointless.

OK, so who has the power to make the necessary changes to the censored words list? The mods and admins will have to agree on exactly which 'words' to include first, but there seem to be no objections to the basic idea. While we're on it, I think we could safely remove a few of the words that are already in the list.
