I cant really see the point in light armour myself. Most things that are going to hurt heros will go straight through it. May as well spend the money on something more worthwhile.

Thats not a Witch Hunter warband. Where's all the crossbows?

Anyway I'd drop the armour and take more henchmen preferably Flagellants or Warhounds.

Not bad...but my lists always went a bit more like this:

Captain, pistols, sword
3x hunters with crossbows and swords
3-4 Falgellants w/flails
leftove gcs used for hounds.

i always found hounds to be much mroe effective than zealots, if only for increased movement. Also-warrior priests aren't that great in starting warbands inho. I always liked to cram in a few more flaggellents, who eventually became heroes (I had 2 of them once). Plus, for the price of 2 zealots, you get 3 warhounds and a few gcs leftover.

What's your playing style with them?

Thats a much better warband Sheth.

When your witch hunters gets a skill take fast shot. Your warband will be amazing.

well my thought on how yo use them is ummmm......move up a little bit with my witch hunters and my captain let them get some shots off let the dog run up to find any hidin models or just to tie up a enemy model and my flagallents are goign to run up like crazy bastards they are and kill so are my zealots...and the thought of trading my zealots for hounds wouldnt be so great b/c hounds can move fast but cant get skills or level up and get better so what good are they in a early starting warband

Thats the point-in an early warband, you can use them cheaply to great effect. Yea, they don't gain skills or exp, but hey! They DO get stories...

War hounds are great in starting warbands, but become fairly pointless later as warbands gain experience. What i tend to do is start with 3 or 4 and as they die replace them with Zealots or Flagellant. I tend to start with all 5 heroes with Crossbows and 4 Zealots with Bows. And just open fire on enemy as they come at me.

nah....i am not liking all of the shooting...i think to truely kill a heretic is by slicing them open a couple of times and seeing them eye to eye...but thats just me..but thx for the advice...oh and my heroes will be shooting then running up in combat..oh and i dont like the idea my zealots and flagellants sont be gaining experirnce early in the games b/c then later on they will be really really good....uand i will get a couple of hounds and jhust keep it at that...im not a big dog person..

Why are you buying all your henchmen individually instead of in groups? I'm not sure if it'll have an adverse or beneficial effect on experience but I think there's a max number of groups you're allowed have.

Consider giving all your zealot's maces so that if they stun anyone the next person that reaches them takes them out of action straight away. Possibly put one in front of each hero so that you can counter-charge when they get charged.

Wardgos are good and I'm thinking of getting one or two for my dark elf warband but they do lack much punch at later games. Still, they can be used in much the same way as the zealots and hero's as it'll work fairly well and look really cool on the table.
