Are those the real official lists, or the ones SG are still playtesting on their forums? Because the current official one for the Druchii really sucks, whilst the semi-official, in-playtest one is actually awesome (balanced and characterful).

Ooh, I hadn't been paying attention to the SG boards. Those are the playtested lists, only made official. Thanks for the link.

Jup, it's indeed quite nice to finally see the lists made official, after the long period it took from an experimental list towards what we now have. Truely, a mammoth task done by the volunteers that made it possible!

Sheesh that is like the ultimate pdf!!! I have always wanted to get into warmaster but no one plays it where I am...... I would so much like to play masive battles of this game.....it sounds like it is the best of all the GW games!! It pretty much has everything that Warhammer has, just less techincal details and more movement strategy......

It does indeed have a lot less list building and a lot more strategy to it. It's also generally cheaper and much more fun. Definitely my game of choice, if I could find someone to get into it with.

Yeah, I'd love to get into Warmaster as well. I've done a few proxy games (with card rectangles  ) and I found it just amazing. I would collect and play it all the time, except I have no one to play either :( .

i.e. move into position, huge ammounts of shooting, nobody gets killed.

Looks like I'm in the same boat as you guys. I bought an undead warmaster army hoping to mobilize positive sentiment among my gaming group. Unfortunately, this didn't work as they are all currently bedazzled by the larger miniatures and aren't too keen on 10mm. Too bad, cause I've read the warmaster rules and played with carboard rectangles as well and found the game to be pretty darn good.

I have an Empire and a Dark Elf army- played a few times over a year ago, but haven't found people around here interested in it. The local GW store (in Glen Burnie, MD) has people playing Epic from time to time, but no Warmaster :( A shame really, such a good game.
Witch Elves still suck ;).
