I'm a little sad that Slaanesh isn't getting any End Times love* miniatures.

That said, I think I can hear my local Warriors of Chaos players having a Khornegasm.

* = well, other than at the start and finish of End Times: Khaine.

Yeah, Nurgle and Khorne both maxed out in the feeling loved category, while Slannesh and Tzeentch got a bit of a raw deal. But that's true across the board: some factions did very well, others got ganked. That said, assuming they either throw the factions into the bubbleverse or retcon all of ET, those who brought the new books and miniatures may end up being the ones who got screwed.

I'm sure Slaanesh doesn't mind a raw deal.

Skipped straight to the last one. :) Nicely played, though.

We've been over this at some length in the past, T.D. I think I may have ruined the Daemon-naming competition in the process.

The "Fiends & Betrayers" entry looks pretty good, though. It's not the Cult of Slaanesh, but it does give Be'lakor, Hellebron, Drycha and Coeddil something in-character to do.

[+] SPOILER
Also entirely in keeping with the Cult of Slaanesh: between the chariots and Tree Spirits, that list has a lot of wood.

Truth.

The pseudo Cult of Slaanesh does look a lot of fun ...and doesn't require buying new non-usuable stuff :)

Well more new leaks.

Plenty of rules to look at plus an odd formation.
Combined High elves and Empire list....

Archaon doesn't seem that impressive. Really hoping for a half decent dark elf formation that's an alternative to these bastardized eternity king ones.

Oh, I don't know - the Armour of Morkar is going to be hugely important in an era where autowounding magic weapons are becoming more common. His offensive mechanisms are pretty strong, but it's really his staying power from that item - combined with his nasty armour save, 3+ ward save, and tons of wounds - which is going to be his big selling point I think. Whereas the other uberlords will be auto-wounding each other like crazy, Archaon will be enduring it all quite merrily.

I'm shocked to see an Orc with WS 8! :P

I think he got it a couple of O&G army books ago, maybe to try to square his stats with his archaon defeating fluff

So, do we reckon he will still go and headbutt Archaon, as a nod to Storm of Chaos?

On a lighter note, one of the posts on Warseer today made me smile when they stated than Grimgor headbutting the earth was what was going to split it into bubbles :)

I foresee a rapid proliferation of Grimgor "facts", taking the Chuck Norris and High Overlord Saurfang examples as a base.

I'm hoping that O&G/Ogres are kept as a bit of a "wild card" faction (no pun intended) in the End Times. Grimgor and Skarsnik are not concerned with matters of order against chaos - they just want to crump stuff.
