A crapload of bits...

At the speed I normally assemble anything more complicated than a lego man, this should keep me occupied for months to come :)

Titanic.
Moding a group of Druchii.net players is much like directing the musical 'Cats' using actual cats. Frustrating, difficult, chaotic but ultimatley satisfying and a great deal of fun.

I just realised that I didn't pin the hip joints. I hope my superglue is strong enough to hold the weight of the body

Epic mate! The lack of pins is a bit of a worry though! Resin is very porous by all accounts, so that plus the large surface area that has been glued will hopefully hold it! But I bet you'll cringe every time you move it!

Looking forward to seeing it progress :)

Cheers

Major snag - despite copious scrubbing and washing, the paint simply will not stick to the shoulder/carapace bits. I've tried various household cleansers with little positive result. Fellow painters have suggested I try engine degreaser. If/when I can get to an auto store I'll see if there's some available for cheap.

Update! I want to see/hear how the degreaser worked out and how far you've progressed.

TBH I haven't even touched it. Aside from some BB Ogres I haven't actually painted anything in about six months. I think it's lack of gaming - I'm lucky to get half a dozen games of toy soldiers over the course of the average year, and that's all games - fantasy, 40k, historicals, etc etc. Mostly I've been PS3 gaming lately.

However, I'm going along to a new club in a couple of days, they're closer than my current club and meet every fortnight. Hopefully that will rejuvinate my enthusiasm.

Because one half-finished Forgeworld project isn't enough...
