Drainial, when might we be lucky enough to get the next Mod post?

I've been itching for some IC conversation for ages now!

Sorry, it's been a shity week and I spent today on the move. But now I have a week off in the open and clean air of home. I will get a mod post up tomorrow sometime, I can't say when exactly.

Just in case I am unable to post again (which is likely), this is what Kykysh will do. She'll grab the handbow, then close her eyes as she expects the beasts charge. When the timing is right she'll use her Evasion skill to evade it, open her eyes and unleash the entire clip into the Cockatrice while avoiding it's gaze at all times.

Drainial, did you consider this when you wrote up your Mod post? Just curious!

I'm doing a Mod post for my group tonight, if I ahve any willpower left after that I may post in G28. Otherwise I'll probably have to do one tomorrow instead!

It was my impression that Kykysh was at the rear of the group behind Syjahel and the last Cockatrice, the one Kykysh would be evading/shooting at, was approaching her from behind.

Perhaps I mistook the groups' positions, not a big deal

The one targeting Syjahel and the target of your post was in front of you. The one you were to be shooting/evading was behind you but it was that one that Jacks was intercepting. It wasn't that you wouldn't have tried shooting/evading, it was that Jacks had made such things redundant by his actions. He charged past you.

You could have, y'know, actually made her shoot the handbow instead of her standing around doing nothing at all

I was just confused to what had transpired during that Mod post. But Drainal corrected me and now it makes sense.

It's just that you look as if you are telling the GM that he should rewrite his post the way you think it should be. You might not be aware of it, that might be the last thing on your mind, so I thought I'd draw your attention to it before it gets further misunderstood

Syjahel, I'm going to get a couple of things of my chest, otherwise your accusations are liable to get me upset next time

Firstly, I was not telling you or anyone else how to RP their characters last time - each to their own and all that jazz - but I did not understand Carathyles obvious contempt for Kykysh, which all seemed rather unnecessary to me, and I sought to. Though I freely admit I probably could have handled the situation better, lol. When I did understand his reasons I was able to accept them, but just because I understand Carathyle's reasons doesn't necessarily mean I agree with them.

Secondly, I am not telling Drainial how to do his job because he generally does a fantastic one, I have my own group (do you guys read it by the way? My last Mod post was rather good if I do say so myself ) and have no plans to usurp Drainials crown for this one! I was a little confused about what had happened in his latest post and I felt that he could have represented my characters interests better. I cannot fully anticipate how battles will unfold and though I said what Kykysh would do next Drainial didn't have to take my words quite so literally, he easily could have tweaked my intentions to better suit what was going on in the RP. If I wanted Drainial to change anything I would probably just ask him

Got some Pig Destroyer on now and I must've seen Moterhead... a dozen times, my dad is a massive fan and goes to see 'em every time they come to town!

Mini, Kykysh isn't completely petrified, just one arm and a section of her upper torso. You don't have to of course but you can act.

To be fair, Syjahel, you didn't actually ask me anything, there were no question marks to indicate any questions. Hence how I could easily have perceived your post to be accusatory, though I am certain that wasn't your intention. But don't worry, I don't expect an apology!
