I have to say it is slightly strange starting the game without anyone being murdered. I almost don't know what to say. This new environement is most unsettling, trust Tarbo to come up with something to make hardened veterans feel like newbies once again :)
Moding a group of Druchii.net players is much like directing the musical 'Cats' using actual cats. Frustrating, difficult, chaotic but ultimatley satisfying and a great deal of fun.

Oh, we've started! I had to go visit my hometown for a few days, so I missed the kickoff, but I'm back now, and will get a-writin' later.

We are in Nagg, where murder is common and won't drag much attention. :| :| :| :killed: :| :|
But a much more heinous crime has been committed here:
the vandalism of at least eighty-nine of our A-5 forms.
Ink and rolling tape held together torn letterheads and form designations, covering the wall, corner to corner, acting as grim tombstones to the actual form bodies that lied shredded to confetti and gathered in a large, mashy pulp of glue and eraser.
:burns:

The thing is we are supposed to be finding the form vandal, but we know who it is. It was the snapper, we saw it in the opening story.

A refresher on voting in the SAU

Post by Tarbo »

Public service announcement: Voting and You!

Voting is done in the following format: Vote: (Name). For instance, if you want to vote Tarbo, you write the following at the very bottom of your post: Vote: Tarbo.

The boldface is important for my ageing eyes, and it's best to put your vote at the bottom of the post so that it really stands out and I do not accidentally miss it when tallying.

Retracting your vote is done in a similar way, but you write 'Unvote' instead of 'Vote': Unvote: Tarbo.

You can only vote for one player at a time. You don't have to unvote explicitly should you want to vote for another player: simply cast another vote. Only your last vote is counted.

Votes do not carry across Days. Every Day phase starts from a clean slate, so if you want to vote for someone you already voted for last Day, you need to repeat your vote.

As a corollary, could I ask to please mark speech with quotation marks and not with boldface?

Well you loyalists are lucky my protector power will be passed on. Poor luck though on my part, it is certainly hard to avoid if you are the first vote called on the first day.

Well have fun :D

Well,
Deroth 117
Sleekdd 144

As I based my "scientific" vote on word counting, a mere 27 words made a difference.
Then I was prepared to change my vote as the word counting increased, but it did not happen.
Honestly, I was surprised to see the gang too happy to push someone else out, without giving a second thought.

First they came for the communists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,
      and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
        and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Please keep rationales and other game-related information in the game thread, and IC. No in-game discussions, exhibitions or revelations here!

I think it comes of too few new bloods. I remember taking part in a similar game over on Ulthuan.org and the callusness that I displayed with regard to the need to vote people off early on nearly got me executed. We all know that someone's gotta go first, sucks when it you though.

Meteor, are you actually roleplaying Ulquiorra Cifer? The jet-black hair and the repeated use of the word "troublesome" is making me wonder. (And on that note, I must commend you on your impeccable taste in characters. ;))

I just noticed that I had an episode of brain flatulence, and thought that April 2nd was a Monday. I recall actually counting and recounting this on my fingers. Good thing I noticed before I ended Morning.

I'll just go ahead and call that my April Fools joke.

Sorry for the burst of inactivity (if there can be such a thing). No particular thing to blame, just lots of little things. Anyway I got my cum-upance, things aren't looking good for the loyalists.

So you figured me out, eh? Oh yeah, I did it, and I did it happily, and I would have done it again, if it hadn't been for those damn meddling elves!

Ah, but it was fun. Nice to be in a SAU again, even though I couldn't outfox you. But I'll be damned if I didn't try :D

Good game everyone. I will be watching with interest to see who wins this one.

So long pal... ar, no, never say pal to a vampire...
Well, that's life, er, not either ...
Someone missed his caffeine, someone missed his coffin.

I wished we had used more the potential of your "mortally challenged" human.
Anyway, good game with you, thanks for your excellent roleplaying, with a very refreshing - even chilling - character.

The game is soon to come to an end anyway.
It's easy to know who won this game: all participants, you included! :D

EDIT:
Just noticed that you erased the nice fluffy image (well, not literally fluffy, but you know what I mean  ) in your signature.
Could you please post it by editing the first of your posts in SAU 19?
Thank you.

Well understood.
I've done it for you, hoping you wouldn't mind.
Whoever reads SAU19 story in the future will have a better understanding (as long as the image remains, some are deleted with time).

It's possible to attach files to posts; that way, we won't depend on an external host for Belial's... mental image of tax workers.

By the by, some of us gathered here work in taxes. I'm not saying, I'm just saying. ;)
