Hi... I'm Payce.
I've played 40k since second edition, relatively competitively in fourth and fifth editions, but I've grown incredibly disillusioned with the direction GW is developing the game, and last year, I decided to drop the chainsword once and for all and bought some Witch Elves instead. Pretty pretty hair. I've spent the time since then trying to muster up the energy to learn a new game from scratch and adapt to having to think about things like ranking up when I model or the fact that wood is flammable, but I think I'm getting there.
I've lurked on here for a while now, mainly to try and get a feel for the general gaming meta around the world (cannons hurt, warlocks good, right?), and I think I'm about ready to actually learn the game now. So bear with me when I post a tonne of stupid questions about tactics choices and the like. I'll get there. Eventually. I'll probably start a PLOG too, to document being a painfully slow painter that tends to gape over too much and buy more models to cover it up. I admit nothing, she said she was sixteen, it's not considered a felony in Utah.

Sure you will find the advice you are looking for, and as a fellow slow painter, it is still nice to see a Plog.
