Looks like Malus Brightblade to me. I think it has certain conceptual issues, for one that the blade is bright, for two I rather fail to see why Malus should have some tart painted on his shield. Having said so, that is a interesting way of going about painting NMM, haven;t seen that before. Not convinced that it works, but it is interesting.
Good show.

If he was supposed to be a drow, someone just shone a floodlight at him as he's far too blue for a drow (unless you went with the AD&D art as example... art that is old and ugly)
Technique is amazing, especially the freehand on the shield!
But concept... and colors... mmm, not so much.
(Where did Malus get a shield from? He never had one, even less so an Asur shield)

The nick name 'Dark blade' refers to Malus himself as an illformed, inherently flawed, character in Druchii society. It has nothing to do with his sword.
Moding a group of Druchii.net players is much like directing the musical 'Cats' using actual cats. Frustrating, difficult, chaotic but ultimatley satisfying and a great deal of fun.

Don't mind the folk at Druchii, they are very judgemental about the colour of a dark elf's skin . I got plenty of flak for having blue elves, but I think you really made it work nicely. Agree with the rest, a little confused about where the girl on the shield fits in, but that being said, you did some amazing freehand in painting her. Beautiful.

Layne@Darkblade is used as a therm similar to ''bastard''. And therefor the therm has nothing to do with his swords colour?
With that in place, first of all i will say: druchii not drow - weird colours. And then: Nicely painted, good freehanding on the shield. Too bad its drow but thats just my opi.

The cape and the freehand = pure sex. Good job!
