What glue to use on Finecast resin?

Post by Kinslayer »

Well I'm properly getting back into gaming now, another big order from Maelstrom just turned up and this time it contains my first ever Finecast model (the Vampire Lord)

Nice model. Question is do I use plastic glue or super glue on this resin? I'm guessing the latter but thought I better double check in case I ruin the model.

Thanks.

I didn't think I had any superglue around the house but I did find some and I just tried glueing the miniature with that, it worked fine.

Does anyone know if plastic glue would work too? I'm not sure if it would have any effect on resin just like how it does not glue metal.

Plastic takes a lot longer to set up on the resin but it is usable.

Does it have the same effect as on plastic though? I wouldn't mind the wait if it means the pieces are pretty much fused together afterwards.

And I hate plastic glue, i use superglue for everything, works fine. And i can rip my figures to shreds if i regret their weapon set up too.. Not done often, but it can be done.
