Black Library Discussion Forum?

Just an idea I thought I'd put out there...

New forums seem to have been created or changed to incorperate other wargaming, video gaming and the such. How about a forum under the general gaming or off topic headings to discuss the works of the Black Library?

I for one am keen to discuss the Horus Heresy series, but threads in the Off Topic soon become lost amidst the newer threads.

I don't think I am the only one who would appreciate this, right?


And Admins, if such a thing came into existence and moderators were needed, I for one would be happy to apply :twisted:

I believe we could do the same with the History of the Druchii-forum as with the other two we recently revamped - enlarge its scope to encompass all background lore. But that's just me.
Count them:

Aye, expanding it to include all lore and BL discussion would work for me too.

That seems a better idea than an entirely new forum, the dark elf novels have seen discussion many a time but for obvious reasons not the rest of the range. Frankly anything that would help to regenerate some interest would be a good thing. The only problem I see is that we run the risk of becoming a general WFB site rather than a dark elf site, which rather misses the point of Druchii.net. For all that though I am in favour of expanding the thread.
Moding a group of Druchii.net players is much like directing the musical 'Cats' using actual cats. Frustrating, difficult, chaotic but ultimatley satisfying and a great deal of fun.

Another good idea, since it then keeps the 4 Druchii forums as just that.

I'd say a lot of the current Off Topic threads are about music and film though, so perhaps it would be best to leave threads such as those where they are? I was thinking of a forum more aimed just at BL rather than all literature, so it focueses on warhammer and 40k novels. Other literature would still have its place in the Off Topic.

So, perhaps a "Black Library" forum, under the General Gaming heading?

Indeed, that sounds like a good idea for the forum ;)
