Most Common Army Size for 8th Ed

Hey all,

I played Dark Elves back in 7th Ed but sold my army prior to deploying to Afghanistan. Since returning I have decided to start collecting them again, however; I have not played any 8th Ed WH.

I am curious to know what the Standard Common Army Size is these days? is it still 2000 pts ? or has it been increased slightly?

Welcome back to the DRUCHII. In this edition, 2000 is still pretty standard in Ontario though 2400 is becoming the standard tournement level, especially for events like GS and Warmasters.

Yep, tournament restrictions often are the foundation for casual games as well, therefore the 2400 pts ETC might be common.

Around here, it is 2500 pts.

2000 pts is still good, but most ppl like the slightly bigger games with 8th edition.
