Welcome new moderators
The process is over, the candidates considered and debated...
I'd like to welcome Dalamar to the position of Druchii Army Lists moderator alongside Druchii77.
In addition, we have also chosen Comrade Igor from amongst the applicants to act as Underway's replacement in the Rules Questions forum. Underway has lots of important stuff to do in dark and distant lands, so we needed someone equally ruthless to continue the fine traditions of the rules forum.

Long-time commitment, well-thought posts, moderation.
Logical and well-deserved nominations. Congrats to both of you.
Good to see that D.net can count on quality candidates vonluteering discretely when a call for help is issued.
Looking forward to seeing a revival of the excellent idea:
Sticky of the Month - Army List Tactical Analysis
with the help of Dalamar bringing his off-the-beaten-track innovations along with his great experience.
Comrade Igor should be busy as well with the coming of the two new FAQ (WHB and DE) triggering new clarifications.
Actually I find the FAQ clear enough - only they add to the number of the rules to have in mind when dealing with ruthless RAWlawyers.
If Pyro wants silly questions, the first such question could take advantage of FAQ available only in some countries...
For example:
"What happens when a Canadian player fights against a US player? Do you draw a line in the middle of the deployment zone and apply the DE FAQ only in the Canadian's half?"
Comrade Igor, you do not need to reply (unless you have a funny answer).

That's how I would do it, seems logical. It only get's more complicated if your playing doubles and only one of the people on one team is Canadian. Damn, we should make a thread on this, or write a letter to GW

Of course you must draw up the Canadian End and American End first, and then roll for deployment.
Welcome to our new colleagues, leave your mercy and your compassion at the door. And your shoes too, we're kinda sanctastic in here.

Welcome peoples
On top of what Layne said - don't forget your sense of humour. Without that life as a mod can become difficult indeed
You might need your shoes though.

Congratulations by the way.

More important, what if someone from the rest of Canada battles someone from Quebec? Does the Québécois get to reject the FAQ responses as they are not translated into French as required by Canadian law?
Oh -- and so I don't get smacked for going off-topic -- congrats to Dalamar.

This you can blame on me. I was working on January's topic and got side-tracked with Christmas and never even finished it until the middle of January. Hopefully it will continue.
Also congratz to you both, or 3 of you I couldn't tell if there was 3 new positions or not.
Anyway have fun with the extra work loads
